Pizza delivery driver robbed in Carbondale

CARBONDALE, IL. (WJPF) — Carbondale Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pizza delivery drivery.

It happened just after 11:00 A.M. Tuesday in the 400 Block of East Mill Street.

According to police, a Domino’s driver was outside of his vehicle making a delivery when he was approached by to subject, one was armed with a handgun.

The suspects stole food, cash, and items from the driver’s vehicle and then fled on foot. No injuries were reported.

The first suspect is described as a 40-year-old black male, roughly 5’9” tall. At the time of the robbery he was wearing baggie clothes. The second suspect is described as a black male in his early teens with shoulder length dreadlocks. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing dark clothes.
