WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL. (WJPF) – State Police say wet weather played a role in a traffic crash on Interstate 57 in Williamson County.
It happened around 2:00 AM Thursday in the southbound lane near mile post 52.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of a tractor-trailer, Jonathan Swanson of Texas, hydroplaned on some standing water, ran off the road and overturned.
Both Swanson and a passenger in the truck were taken to a local hospital.
