SALINE COUNTY, IL. (WJPF) — A special meeting of the Saline County Board will be held Tuesday night to appoint a new sheriff.
Keith Brown is stepping down after over a decade on the job.
Whoever is selected will serve until the permanent replacement is decided in November’s election.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 5:00pm.
