A Jefferson County man has been charged with murder after he allegedly shot his brother.
Matthew Sloan is charged with killing David Sloan.
The incident happened a little before 6:00 Wednesday evening on East Webb Road North of Mt Vernon.
Matthew Sloan is being held on a three million dollar bond. He’s due back in court on August first.
