20-year-old singer/songwriter RJ Word is perfectly poised to take the world by storm. A lifelong performer, RJ discovered his love for music at 5 years old while singing in school productions. Initially in the background, he moved center stage with leads in several musical theatre productions including “Pippin,” “Pajama Game” and “Thoroughly Modern Millie. Discovered by renowned voice coach Roger Love when still in his 6th grade, RJ Word has honed his craft over a decade as a singer, writer, and in musical production. Grammy-winning engineer Ted Perlman once commented about RJ, “He’s got a big voice, big sound.”
As an independent artist, RJ Word keeps his creations sexy, fresh and fun. Hitting the big scene in 2016 with the song, “Here Today” that premiered on NBC Universo, he has become popular around the world with singles such as “I’m Gone” that clocked over 1 million views in the very first week on YouTube.
2017 “Hold Tight” is yet another single from RJ Word that fulfills his creative mission backed by a unique song style; the single went trending in over 14 countries and reached over 3M views on YouTube. The next generation fans have given him their approval, and RJ Word today has over 1.1 million followers on Instagram and over 1 million fans on Facebook.
