FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) – Pretrial release has been denied for a Zeigler man who has been charged for child sexual assault.
63 year old Mark Tindall has been charged with five counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child after an 11 year old girl disclosed the abuse July 14.
The girl’s mother had previously been in a relationship with Tindall and had left the girl in his care while she worked.
Charges include multiple acts of sexual abuse and Tindall admitted to having sexual contact with the girl during an interview.
Tindall’s preliminary hearing is set for August 5 in Franklin County.
