One person has been arrested and police are searching for two more after a traffic stop in Marion. 

Early Friday morning, around 12:25am, a Marion Police officer conducted a traffic stop on a Blue Cadillac Escalade for a traffic violation, but the vehicle sped away when the officer exited his squad car.

Three occupants fled on foot when the Cadiallc stopped on Meadowland Parkway.

Williamson County Deputies, ISP troopers and Marion Police Officers began a search where they came upon a fenced area containing three dumpsters. Officers located a black male lying in one of the dumpsters. He was identified as 35 year old Corey Williams of Cairo. Also in the dumpster was a backpack containing 505 grams of powder cocaine, 468 grams of illegal cannabis and a little over $1,200.

Williams is being charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Cannabis-More than 100 Grams But Less Than 500 Grams and Resisting a Peace officer. He was incarcerated in the Williamson County Jail.

The other two occupants have not been located or identified.
