SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WJPF) – State official report Illinois’ unemployment rate fell slightly in December.
Last month’s jobless rate fell 0.4% to 5.3%.
Non-farm payrolls increased by nearly 23,000.
The national unemployment rate for December came in at 3.9%.
