MT. VERNON, Ill. (WJPF) — No injuries were reported after a motel fire in Mt. Vernon.
Firefighters were called to the Economy Inn on Route 37 at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. The State Fire Marshal’s Office has been called in to investigate.
