GOLCONDA, Ill. (WJPF) — A mosquito testing positive for West Nile Virus has been found in Massac County.
The Southern Seven Health Department says the mosquito was collected Tuesday in Metropolis.
It’s the second mosquito collected this year by the Southern Seven Health Department to test positive for West Nile. The first was found June 23 in Golconda.
