FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill. (WJPF) — A six-month-long undercover narcotics investigation has led to the indictment of 19 people in Franklin County.
The indictments were handed down Friday by a Grand Jury. On the following Monday, 15 individuals were arrested.
- Jared Ray, a 32-year-old male of West Frankfort, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Justin Osborne, a 31-year-old male of Benton, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Preston Williams, a 23-year-old male of West Frankfort, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Brandy Wilkerson, a 41-year-old female of Benton, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Jeremy Upton, a 31-year-old male of Benton, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Ryan Murphy, a 41-year-old male of West Frankfort, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Chad Turley, a 31-year-old male of West Frankfort, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Shane Webster, a 37-year-old male of Zeigler, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Courtney Weaver, a 27-year-old male of West City, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- James Munyon, a 29-year-old male of West Frankfort, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Wesley Miller, a 33-year-old male of West Frankfort, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Spring Leonard, a 22-year-old female of West Frankfort, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Jeffrey Connell, a 42-year-old male of West Frankfort, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine
- Cody Shulda, a 28-year-old male of West Frankfort, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine
- Travis Braden, a 34-year-old male of McCleansboro, IL – Unlawful Delivery of Methamphetamine, Wanted on Warrant
Bonds on some of the accused are upwards of one hundred thousand dollars.
Police say more indictments are anticipated in the near future. The cases will be prosecuted by the Franklin County State’s Attorney’s Office.
