CARBONDALE, Ill (WJPF) — A Jackson County man is behind bars after he was caught by police in the middle of a burglary.
Carbondale Police say there called at 9:30 a.m. Friday to a residence in the 800 block of West Walnut Street for a report of a burglary in progress. Officers found the front door damaged and Robert Blair, 52, inside the home. Blair tried to run out the back door, but was caught by police.
Robert Blair was charged with Residential Burglary and taken to the Jackson County Jail.
