Carbondale Police investigate Wednesday shots fired

CARBONDALE, Ill. (WJPF) — Carbondale Police are investigating after shots were fired in the 900 block of North Marion Street.

It happened just after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say unknown suspects fired a number of shots. No injuries or property damage was reported.

The suspects, described by police as two black males, sped off from the area in a black two door vehicle.

It’s thought the shooting was the result of a dispute among acquaintances.
