ALEXANDER COUNTY, IL. (WJPF) – A portion of Illinois Route 3 between McClure and Gale in Alexander County has now been completely closed.
IDOT made the closure Saturday afternoon due to flood water covering the road. A lane reduction was put into place last week.
The closure is just south of Route 146 where drivers make the turn to get to Cape Girardeau.
