Amidst multiple rap beefs with G-Eazy and Eminem, Machine Gun Kelly has released his new EP: Binge.

The nine-track project includes MGK’s diss track, “Rap Devil”, which was made in response to Eminem’s diss track “Not Alike.”

Binge is a 180 compared to MGK’s last album, 2017’s Bloom. That album showed off a more sensitive side of MGK and he was able to demonstrate that he could write radio friendly hits.

The album made MGK a notable name to mainstream music listeners thanks to the singles “Bad Things (feat. Camila Cabello)” and “At My Best (feat. Hailee Steinfeld).”

MGK had a rough upbringing.  After being born in Houston, Texas, he and his family moved around the globe including Germany, Chicago, Cleveland and eventually Denver.

After some time in Colorado, 2005 saw MGK move back to Cleveland where he would eventually be discovered by the rap community.

He developed the name Machine Gun Kelly because of how fast he could rap.  His first big break came in 2009 when he appeared on MTV2’s Sucker Free Freestyle.

After a couple mixtapes, and some notable features, MGK was signed to Bad Boy Records in 2011.  The following year saw the released of his debut album Lace Up.

Since then, MGK has released two mixtapes (F*** It, Black Flag), 2 albums (General Admission, Bloom) and started acting.

He made his film debut in 2014’s Beyond The Lights followed by appearances in Nerve, Viral and The Land while also starring the Showtime Original series Roadies.  He will also be appearing in the upcoming films: Captive State, Bird Box and The Dirt (as Tommy Lee).
