CHESTER, IL. (WJPF) – An inmate at Menard Correctional Center has died. It’s the fourth prisoner death at prison reported this month.
The latest inmate death occurred on September 15th. The cause of death is believed to be self-inflicted.
The other three inmates died on September 5th, 6th, and 7th.
Authorities do not believe the deaths are related.
