It can be hard to believe that Ariana Grande has been in the public eye for ten years beginning with the musical 13 in 2008 and continuing with her new album Sweetener.

Grande released her 4th studio album on August 17th and featured Pharrell Williams and Nicki Minaj.

Before beginning her music career, Grande was known for stage and television roles.  After her first on stage performance in 2008, Grande landed the role of Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon’s Victorious.  She played the role for 56 episodes before appearing in 35 episodes of the spin-off show Sam & Cat.

In 2013, Grande released her debut album, Yours Truly, which debuted at number one on the Billboard top 200.  The three singles from the album all debuted on the top 100 charts.  “The Way” featuring then boyfriend Mac Miller peaked at number 9 on the charts.  “Baby I” debuted at number 21.  “Right There” featuring Big Sean debuted at number 84.

Grande picked up right where she left off with another successful release in 2014: My Everything.  That album featured the lead single “Problem” featuring Iggy Azalea and “Break Free” featuring Zedd.  It was also in 2014 that Grande featured on the global hit “Bang Bang” alongside Nicki Minaj and Jessie J.

Since then she has continued to rack up hit after hit while balancing stage performances, television and movie appearances and publicized relationships with Mac Miller and her fiancé Pete Davidson.

At just 25 years old, Grande already has the world in her palms and only time can tell where she ends up in the future.
