The multi-agency task force in Franklin County has arrested four people on drug charges after performing traffic stops in areas with high illegal drug activity and conducted a search of those vehicles with the help of a K-9 unit.
In West Frankfort, authorities arrested Richard Trusty and Lorenza Finney on charges of possession of methamphetamine. Finney was also charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.
In Zeigler, Michelle Davis and Charles Bates were both arrested and charges with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and the endangerment of a child.
