An Illinois Department of Children and Family Services worker who was beaten while trying to take protective custody of a child remains in a coma and in critical condition.
59 year old Pamela Knight’s husband says his wife will require medical assistance and equipment for the rest of her life.
The man accused of the beating Knight, 29 year old Andrew Sucher, has pleaded not guilty.
