Both inmates who escaped a Southeast Missouri jail last month have been recaptured in New Orleans.
US Marshals arrested Joseph Latamondeer late yesterday morning at a New Orleans homeless shelter. William Carter was arrested days prior while he was walking down a city street.
Both men are expected to be sent back to Missouri in the coming days.
