The West Frankfort city council has voted to increase the number of liquor licenses available to businesses.
The number will be upped from 7 to 10.
The increase was due largely to local business wanting to obtain a liquor license in order to operate video gaming machines.
West Frankfort brought in just under 1.5 million dollars in gaming revenue last year.
