WHITE COUNTY, IL. – One of the three men who escaped from the White County Jail in June has accepted a plea deal for the original charges that placed him behind bars.
Zachery Shock, of McLeansboro will spend over 31 years in prison. Shock was sentenced to 20 years for Second Degree Murder. 11 1/2 for Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm. Those sentences to run consecutively.
Additional jail time for the June jail break was not part of this plea deal.
