Marion man sentenced for cyber-stalking

A Marion man has been sentenced to three years in state prison for cyber stalking.

According to a press release from Williamson County State’s Attorney Brandon Zanotti, 32-year-old Jonathan Carver pled guilty to the charges last week. He was arrested in November of last year.

According to Zanotti, Carver threatened the life of the victim at least twice through text messages. The victim was able to give investigator copies of the texts.

In addition to jail time, Carver was also ordered to have no contact with the victim or the victim’s residence in the future.
